Yigal is the former CEO of Netafim Ltd., the pioneer and global leader of modern agriculture and drip irrigation market. During Yigal's 23 year tenure at Netafim, including 12 years as its CEO, Netafim grew from sales of $50 million to over $230 million, and built up a leading global presence. Yigal currently serves as a director of Netafim.
Since 2002, Yigal has been an active director and manager of startup companies in the biotechnology and water technology sectors, and has served on the boards of several chemical and materials companies.
Yigal holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from Hebrew University, an M.Sc. in Physics from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev and an MBA from Boston University's branch in Israel.
